EMS + Reformer Pilates
Private reformer Pilates while wearing the EMS suit, combining electrical muscle stimulation with controlled reformer exercises.
Your trainer guides your positioning, adjusts the stimulation, and selects movements around your experience and goals.
Available at our Brickell studio or at your location if you have access to a suitable reformer in your home or building.
What Is an EMS Workout?
EMS stands for electrical muscle stimulation. During your workout, electrodes in a specialized suit deliver electrical impulses that stimulate muscle contractions while you perform guided exercises.
At EMS Health Miami, we combine this technology with private, full-body personal training. Your trainer adjusts the stimulation and movements to your experience, goals, and response throughout the session.
Personal Training with Individual Attention
Your trainer guides each exercise, corrects your positioning, and adjusts the stimulation by muscle group. You receive individual attention to movement, technique, and an appropriate level of challenge.
As you progress, sessions can evolve through changes in exercise selection, resistance, movement control, and stimulation settings, with recovery considered alongside intensity.

FAQ
-
Yes, it absolutely is. Your first sessions will introduce the stimulation gradually using manageable exercises and close supervision. Share with us your exercise history and health concerns before training.
-

-
Frequency should reflect your experience, the session intensity, and recovery. New clients need a gradual familiarization period rather than immediately adding multiple demanding sessions. We discuss a suitable schedule and how EMS fits alongside your other exercise.
-
EMS can be part of a resistance-training routine, but the right balance depends on your goals. If you want to improve particular sports skills or cardiovascular fitness, those activities may still need specific practice. Tell us what you already do so your training can be planned accordingly.
-
EMS does not selectively remove fat from the abdomen. It can support a strength-focused exercise routine, while changes in body fat also depend on nutrition, overall activity, and consistency. A session does not guarantee weight loss or a particular change in measurements.
-
EMS is not suitable for everyone. Pregnancy and implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers are important contraindications. Other medical conditions may require clearance or make training unsuitable. Share relevant health information before booking so suitability can be reviewed.
